Terms of Service

Last updated: September 6, 2026

1. Acceptance of these Terms

By creating an account or otherwise using the Adaptive Learning Platform (“the Service,” “we,” “us”), you agree to these Terms of Service. If you do not agree, do not use the Service.

2. What the Service does

The Service lets you upload your own study material, generates a personalized study program from it (including AI-generated questions, explanations, and feedback), and tracks your progress. Some study programs are built around independent, third-party certification exams (for example, CISSP); others are built from generic topics you supply.

3. Your account

You are responsible for the accuracy of the information you provide and for all activity under your account. Notify us promptly if you believe your account has been accessed without authorization.

4. Content you upload

You retain ownership of the study material you upload. By uploading it, you grant us a limited license to store, process, and analyze it solely to provide the Service to you (generating your study program, questions, and feedback). You are solely responsible for having the real, legal right to upload and use that material, and for ensuring it does not infringe anyone else’s copyright or other rights, or disclose confidential or third-party material you are not authorized to share.

5. AI-generated content

Questions, explanations, and feedback are generated by AI models based on the material you provide. They may be incomplete, out of date, or occasionally incorrect. The Service is a study aid, not a substitute for expert instruction, official course materials, or the official materials published by any certifying body. You are responsible for verifying anything important against a trusted, authoritative source before relying on it.

6. Non-affiliation with certifying bodies

Where the Service references a third-party certification (for example, CISSP), that reference is descriptive only. The Service is an independent study aid and is not affiliated with, endorsed by, or sponsored by the organization that administers that exam. You remain responsible for complying with that organization’s own candidate agreement, including any non-disclosure obligations covering real exam content — never enter real, current exam questions into the Service.

7. Acceptable use

You agree not to: use the Service to violate any law or third party’s rights; upload malware or attempt to interfere with the Service’s operation or security; attempt to circumvent usage limits tied to your subscription plan; or use the Service to prepare content that violates a real exam’s own integrity or non-disclosure policies.

8. Subscriptions and billing

Some features require a paid subscription, billed through our payment processor (Stripe). Subscriptions renew automatically until cancelled. Fees are non-refundable except where required by law. You can cancel at any time; cancellation takes effect at the end of the current billing period.

9. Deleting your account

You may request deletion of your account at any time from your account settings. We process deletion requests as described in our Privacy Notice.

10. Disclaimers and limitation of liability

The Service is provided “as is,” without warranties of any kind, express or implied, including fitness for a particular purpose or non-infringement. We do not guarantee any particular exam or learning outcome. To the maximum extent permitted by law, we are not liable for indirect, incidental, or consequential damages arising from your use of the Service.

11. Termination

We may suspend or terminate your access if you violate these Terms. You may stop using the Service, and delete your account, at any time.

12. Changes to these Terms

We may update these Terms from time to time. Material changes will be reflected by updating the “Last updated” date above.

13. Contact

Questions about these Terms can be sent to the contact address on your account.
