Privacy Notice

Last updated: September 6, 2026

1. Information we collect

Account information (name, email address) provided at signup and managed through our authentication provider, Clerk; the study material you upload; your study activity (answers, timing, confidence ratings, progress); and, if you subscribe to a paid plan, billing information processed by our payment processor, Stripe — we do not receive or store your full card number.

2. How we use your information

To provide the Service: generating your study program and AI-generated questions, explanations, and feedback from your uploaded material; tracking your progress; and billing your subscription, if any. We do not sell your personal information.

3. AI processing of your content

Your uploaded material is processed by AI models (including third-party model providers) to generate study content. This processing is automated and limited to producing your own study program — your material is not used to train shared models, and is not shown to other users.

4. Where your information is stored

Your data is stored on Google Cloud Platform infrastructure. Access is limited to what the Service needs to function; administrative access is limited and logged.

5. Data retention and deletion

We retain your information for as long as your account is active. You can request deletion of your account at any time from your account settings. When you do, we anonymize your personally identifying information (your account row is not deleted outright, since other records reference it, but your name, email, and identifying details are overwritten and no longer recoverable) — this is a real, irreversible action.

6. Third-party service providers

We use a small number of third-party providers to operate the Service: Clerk (authentication), Stripe (payment processing), and Google Cloud Platform (hosting and storage). Each processes only the information necessary for its own function, under its own privacy terms.

7. Your rights

You can access and update your account information at any time while signed in, and request deletion of your account as described above. If your local law grants additional rights (such as data portability or a right to object to processing), contact us using the address on your account and we will respond as required by that law.

8. Children’s privacy

The Service is not directed to children under 13, and we do not knowingly collect personal information from them.

9. Changes to this notice

We may update this notice from time to time. Material changes will be reflected by updating the “Last updated” date above.
